Today’s exercise had two parts – choose my “reset” notebook, and choose a personal mantra for this challenge.
I liked the notebook aspect of this challenge – I always keep a Moleskin with me at all times to journal on the fly, jot down notes or ideas, and keep info that I need handy. The best part of keeping a notebook or journal is being able to go back & see how you’ve progressed (or in some cases, stagnated) since the beginning.
Since I use my Moleskin as a general catch-all for thoughts, ideas & other info, I decided to get a separate notebook for the Reset Challenge & beyond. I went to Target and picked up a cute little Moleskin-esque notebook in green.
Mine looks just like this, except it says “notes” instead of “address” – cute right?
Now the mantra – first let me say that I’m a big believer in affirmations. I use them quite a bit. I have affirmation cards on my vision boards, I keep affirmations in my Moleskin, and I even have affirmations in my bathroom, so that they are one of the first things I see when I get up & when I go to bed. The hard part in this part of the challenge is choosing one, and choosing an affirmation that really encompasses what I want to get out of this challenge, and the changes I want to manifest in my life.
I went through all my resources – my cards, my journals, my LoA books, and I finally found some affirmations that really spoke to where I am on my journey today. I narrowed it down to two, which I decided to incorporate into one master statement.
My personal mantra for this challenge is: I love life and I am changing in a positive way. I live fully and freely in the Now, getting from Life & the Universe exactly what I give to it. I am grateful & happy to be alive, and I express health, happiness, prosperity and peace of mind.
Day 1 accomplished! I hope everyone has had a great start to the challenge.
